Brent Floyd BSc (Hons). MA. MSc. MEd.
Brent has been teaching Computing & I.T. in Colleges
of Further Education/Institutes of Technology/Industry in the Isle of
Man, the United Kingdom and Ireland since 1983. He was Head of
Computing at Palmer's College, Essex for three years and Computing Training
Manager at E.W. Payne, London for two years. He has been Lecturing at AIT,
since August 2001.
He changed careers from Chemistry, in 1980 where he trained and
qualified as a Cobol and BASIC Programmer, afterwards he studied HNC
Electronics and for five years he was a Computing Technician/Network
Manager at a London College. During this time he lectured on a
part-time basis. Eventually, the lecturing took over and he
studied both Computing and Education at Degree and Master Degree
levels.
